ARM

AURORA RESISTOJET MODULE

ARM product family is designed to maximise the limited capacity of space, weight, and power available on a spacecraft be it a CubeSat or a Small satellite. By producing customisable modules with our modular design, we aim to fulfil the customer’s strict and complex requirements without increasing the lead times. 


ARM modules have following customisable features:

  • Integrated attitude determination capabilities
  • Propellant used (E-variant)

ARM products utilise resistojet technology which reduces the propellant use compared to cold gas thrusters. By using a water-based propellant mixture, safety and hassle free shipping and launch operations are not compromised. The products are designed for CubeSats and Small satellites.

ARM-O-AS

SMALLEST FORM FACTOR COLLISION AVOIDANCE SYSTEM

ARM-O-AS is an ARM-O variant in an extremely compact form factor. This, world’s smallest propulsion system is fully customizable to any size & need ranging even to picosatellites. Like all ARM product lines, ARM-O-AS is a water-based resistojet system. Usable for orbital corrections, collision avoidance and single-axis attitude control, including reaction wheel desaturation.

AURORA PLASMA BRAKE

The plasma brake is an electrostatic tether device. It deploys a microtether that is electrically charged to generate Coulomb drag. This product deorbits a satellite from orbits up to 1000 km in altitude.


APB modules have following customisable features:

  • Deployment method (Spin or Gravity gradient)
  • Level of autonomy
  • System size
  • Tether length

APB’s single microtether wire is only 50 μm thick which ensures that it does not interfere with other space assets in a negative manner. APB is designed to be used in CubeSats and Small satellites.
